Listing reviews

Before any product SKU goes live on your marketplace or DTC store, our desk reviews each listing to help you avoid compliance or fulfilment problems.

Send your draft SKU through our contact form with the supplier invoice details and any fulfilment notes. Mention the sales channel and delivery area so the review can check carton class, MOQ, VAT paperwork, and inland or coastal handling risks.

For checklist help before submission, read our resources and shipping & samples pages. They cover product detail gaps, image requirements, packaging constraints, and common delivery issues that affect listing reviews in South Africa.

We check your listing details and compliance

Our team reviews every new product listing for accuracy, POPIA readiness, and local marketplace requirements before your SKU goes live. We check if your supplier matches your channel’s standards and that all product details align with local regulations, such as carton class, MOQ and VAT invoice details.

We also verify that your listing suits your channel, from WhatsApp DTC to Takealot or Makro Marketplace, and flag humidity or fragile item warnings for inland or coastal delivery lanes. Our aim is to stop returns and missed SLA penalties before they happen.

Send your draft and attachments to the right desk

Send your draft listing through our contact form. Make sure to attach your product images, supplier invoice, and fulfilment notes. Tell us your intended channel and delivery region, for example, 'Midrand DTC', 'Makro Marketplace', or 'Stellenbosch wholesale'.

Once your email comes through, the relevant ops desk checks your SKU for missing product details, unclear fulfilment notes, or delivery risks. We then flag any issues or confirm that your SKU can move to the next step. For more on what to include, check our playbooks or resources on listing and shipping.

  • Attach all product images and supplier invoice.
  • Include fulfilment and shipping notes relevant to your channel.
  • State your intended channel and delivery region in the email subject.

What we need from you for a listing review

Supply all required documents in your first email: high-quality images, supplier invoice (with VAT details if registered), and your own fulfilment notes. Make sure your customer data handling process follows POPIA as some channels request proof.

List carton weight, measurements, and note if the item is sensitive to humidity or rough handling, as this affects which couriers and packing classes we recommend. If your listing misses any basic details, review may take longer as we need to request more information.

SKU review submission desk

For a listing review, attach the supplier invoice details and fulfilment notes to your draft. Rosebank HQ routes the SKU to the right ops desk for checks against channel requirements, delivery lane risks, and missing listing fields.
